PERPETUATING CULTURE & SHARING ALOHA

Community Impact

Through the community impact work of our parent company, Hawaiian Native Corporation, we advance a commitment to benefit Native Hawaiians by perpetuating culture and supporting community. We do this through contributions, volunteerism, and by creating meaningful employment and advancement opportunities, sharing the spirit of aloha in Hawaiʻi.

Service in Action

Impact Beyond Hawaiʻi

Beyond Hawai‘i, we share aloha and support local communities across the U.S. where we live and work.

LAUKOA Aloha ʻĀina

To celebrate Earth Day, the LAUKOA ʻohana comes together every April to show the ways we Aloha ʻĀina (love the land) where we live and work. Teams across the organization participate in planting trees and native vegetation, cleaning debris and litter, laying mulch, and more.

LAUKOA Day of Service

Each year, LAUKOA organizes a company-wide Day of Service to honor the kupuna who inspired our impact and community engagement programs. Inspired by the ongoing dedication to community service of our kupuna, hundreds of team members and volunteers come together on LAUKOA Day of Service to make an impact in more than a dozen communities throughout the U.S.

LAUKOA Nā Koa Kahiko

We are grateful to the veterans who have sacrificed for our country, so we come together each summer to celebrate our country and honor the veterans in our communities. Teams host projects at Fisher House Foundation locations and other veterans’ organizations, including meal preparation and serving, site cleanup, and other tasks needed by the locations.

LAUKOA Manawa Le‘a

Starting in late November and running through the holiday season, the LAUKOA ‘ohana celebrates by leading projects to serve food, provide gifts, donate warm winter gear, or provide other much-needed support to nonprofits across the country.
